Fear of Osteoporosis (Part 2)

March 4, 2025 By Robin Vinge

I will continue my post on a fear of osteoporosis. I am at significant risk of developing osteoporosis because I had anorexia when I was young, I have a strong family  history of osteoporosis and I am now post-menopausal. According to The Complete Dictionary of Ailments and Diseases osteoporosis involves the bones, so consider what are your basic structures and beliefs. As you can’t have children any longer, you can still be just as useful and productive not for procreation but in other personal, social or professional areas. Contemplating how you can be of service in your life in these areas is important.

I must overcome the tendency to depreciate myself, believing I am good for nothing.

I accept to change my way of looking at things and to develop tolerance towards myself. I look at all my fine achievements. I accept having reached a new stage in life and being able to change the structures that controlled me all my life. I look to the future. I analyze what I really like to do and I undertake new projects. I overcome my timidity. I must trust in life and find new sources of motivation, I am now the master of my own life.

I have found doing weights 3 x/week helpful to build bone density (for about 30 minutes). Algae Cal posts some great videos using hand held barbells (5-10 pounds). I have also found pilates to be helpful for building strength in my physical body. I do Pilates for 20 minutes three times weekly. Free videos can be found on Youtube. I like Pilates for Posture on Youtube.

Fear of Osteoporosis (Part 1)

March 3, 2025 By Robin Vinge

I thought I would write a fear about developing osteoporosis. I watched my Mom decline from osteoporosis. She wound up in a wheelchair living in a carehome. She used to ask me to pray for hope as she wanted to connect with others in her twilight years. She often felt unable to connect, like in those deep intimate ways of her youth. i thought I would look at some aspects of osteoporosis including the metaphysical angles which I love so much.

One of my favorite books talking about metaphyical aspects is The Complete Dictionary of Ailments and Diseases written by Jacques Martel. I will include writings on osteoporosis to help other readers who are at risk of this condition. From all my exposure to the research and webinars I have taken on osteoporosis, the drugs have a lot of negative side effects and emphasis should be on fall prevention and maximizing mobility.

I am a member of the Algae Care Community group. I like their supplements and recommend them to patients The Bone Building Pack in particular I recommend to patients. I came across their company when I attended a conference on autoimmune disease years ago. I had prayed about what I should do about my bones and I met Lara Heller who wrote Your Bones- a book about preventing osteoporosis and also the wife of Dr. Pizzorno, ND. I urge you to buy the book.

According to the book I mentioned in the second paragraph, osteoporosis involves a loss in the intention of the desire to be, a loss of interest and the desire to be here at the deepest level. I am no longer what was. Because it is the bones that are affected, namely my basic structures and beliefs; I ask myself what are the beliefs that I hang  on to that I should change, because I can’t have children any longer. I can still be useful and productive in other personal, social or professional areas. This is a good question to contemplate.

I am a registered naturopathic doctor practicing on the Jane platform. Healing is about Knowing Yourself

December 30, 2024 By Robin Vinge

One of the most important requirements for me to heal is to have a spiritual anchor at all times. This anchor roots me and grounds me into the 3D world while opening me up to divine guidance at all times. I visualize my root chakra with roots extended into the earth and I also visualize my crown chakra at the top of my head open to the divine. Everyone has different beliefs around what they believe is assisting them from the higher realms…believe what you believe. Visualizing this anchor while being open to higher level guidance helps me feel safe and expansive. Focusing on appreciation and gratitude for all my blessings keeps me in a space of receptivity. Focusing on love vs fear keeps me moving forward in a spirit of faith. Healing requires faith. Doing a meditation every day is important for my ongoing healing. Currently I am doing the Love Your Body Meditation from the www.drjoedispenza.com collection. You focus on your heart to create a unified field of healing. Then project your unified heart field to heal parts of the body that need healing. I aim to do this meditation twice a day.
